What is the meaning of AAUA AVERS?

Step 1: Login into the  Page - avers.aaua.edu.ng or the Avers students' page- avers.aaua.edu.ng/student/login and enter your Matriculation number and Password. Once logged in, it will display your Student's dashboard as shown on the diagram below.

Step 2: Once you logged in, click on the "Profile" section and update your valid Email, Phone number, Faculty and Department on the provided spaces. Click on "Update Profile" to save as shown on the diagram shown below.

Step 3: Click on "My Results", then click on the year session to see the results for all your Courses. Once your lecturer (s) upload (s) your results, you will find them on AVERS with grade A - F.  On the result page, you will see "Select session" and you will see your course titles, course code, scores and grades as shown on the diagram below.

How to Login to AAUA Avers - aver.aaua.edu.ng 

Step 4: To see your outstanding courses, click on the "Outstanding  Courses" - if you see any outstanding there, it either means the lecturer is yet to upload your result for that Course - [Meet the lecturer in Charge] or you failed the Course - [that's Carryover, you are to retake the Course in coming session] as shown on the below diagram.

Step 5: To see you GPA or CGPA, click on the next key to see your Cumulative Grade Point Assessment as shown in below diagram.

Step 6: To see your up-to-date  registered course, click on "Registered Courses", that is where all your registered courses will be from 100 level till 400/500 Level. For Any course you didn't see on that dashboard, it means you can't see result for such course as shown on the diagram below.

Step 7: Should the school require you to print your Exam slip during Examination period, all you need to do it to click on "Exam Slip", enter the session and Semester you want to print, it will load automatically for you to print. The exam slip comes with your name, Matric no, Faculty, Department among others as shown on the diagram below.

Step 8: This is a major step on the Avers, it's a major tool to fix almost 60% problem Students encounter on day-to-day usage of Avers. When you Registered for a course and you didn't see it on "Registered Course", or you wanted to update your results, click on "Course Sync" to synchronize the AVERS App and Update the course on the Avers, as shown on the diagram below.

Step 9:  That is the "help desk" key, it an enquiry key for Students to communicate whatever error they encounter on the app to the AAUA ICTAC. But, the key hasn't been working for a while, but the key is located beneath the page. When you have issue, visit the School ICTAC.

This are the two major ways to login to AAUA Avers Staff Portal: 

1. Go to your browser and type - avers.aaua.edu.ng/staff/login
2. Enter your staff ID and password to login as shown on the diagram below.

Here are some of the common terms to know about AAUA AVERS and how to fix them

How can I access Avers | Three common useful terms on AAUA AVERS are:

• Not uploaded Yet - It means your result has not been uploaded on your AVERS.  Ask your friends to confirm if it is a general problem, if not, kindly contact the Lecturer-in-charge of the Course.
• Uploaded - It means your result has been uploaded for such Course.
• Locked - It means your result for that particular course has been locked and you can't see it. If it's a general issue, it will be fixed by the School [The Class governor should notify the Department for quick action]. But, if you are the only one, kindly contact Department/ICTAC.
• Outstanding - It means you have grade "F" or Result not yet uploaded in the Course and you are to retake the Course at the next available session or contact the Lecturer-in-charge [Incase not uploaded outdating].

This is how to reset your AAUA AVERS Password

Avers| Follow these steps below on how to reset your AAUA AVERS password:

• First, you need to get a pin at ICTAC
• Login to the AVERS site - avers.aaua.edu.ng
• Enter your Matriculation Number and click on forget Password. You will be taken to the section to reset your password as shown in the diagram below:

To reset AAUA AVERS Password, follow these five basic steps below: 

1. Enter your Matriculation Number on the "Student ID" section
2. Enter the valid Pin you bought from School ICTAC at the "Pin" section of the page
3. Enter your new password on the next space
4. and reconfirm the password; 
5. Click on "Update Password" and it will be done successfully. 

Here are five steps on how to change your AAUA AVERS Password:

1. Login to the AVERS site - avers.aaua.edu.ng
2. Click on profile, and click on Reset Password
3. Enter your new password and reconfirm to update
4. A confirmation message will show to confirm you have "Successfully changed your Password" and you will be lodged out automatically

This Article answers all your questions on how to check your admission status through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board's Central Admission Processing System, known as JAMB CAPS. To aide Students' learning, each step is added with a diagram illustration and a video manual.

What is Jamb CAPS?

These are the two meaning of JAMB Caps:

• JAMB CAPS is an abbreviation for the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB’s) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
• It a a specially designed electronic portal that helps students monitor their University and Tertiary Institution admission processes.

When can I check my Admission on Jamb Caps?

• You can only begin to check your admission on Jamb Caps after you have written UTME exam and done with your School's Admission screening.

After the completion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), which is hosted by JAMB every year, the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is activated to enable candidates monitor their admission statuses. Upon accessing the portal, candidates can easily know when they have been offered admission.

How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS Portal 2023?

Admission has begin for 2023 session and the only authentic way to check your admission is through JAMB CAPS via their eFacility Students' login.

According to  JAMB's latest admission policy for 2023 admissions,  it mandated all schools to first recommend students for Admission to Jamb Board for admission and states that all Students must accept their admission on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) - for valid authentication of such Admission.

Depending on your school, as a Student, you need to accept your admission on CAPS before you see your name on the admission list by your school of choice when released.

For example, the Ekiti State University releases her admission first on Jamb Caps portal before releasing admission list on the University portal after uploading it on .

There are two methods to check your admission status in Nigeria; and both required you to have a valid Jamb Registration number, valid email and Phone number.

What must I check my admission on Jamb Caps?

2. Valid Email address

Here are the seven major steps to check your admission on Jamb CAPS:

1. Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal - efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
2. Login to the Portal with your valid email and password
3. Click on “Check Admission Status" icon
4. Click on "Access  my CAPS" 
5. Click on “Check Admission Status”
6. Accept or Reject Admission
7. Print your Admission Letter.

These are the Seven basic steps to check your admission on Jamb Caps as listed below:

Step 1. Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal - efacility.jamb.gov.ng/; Some Schools have already started uploading their Admission lists to the JAMB Portal. Candidates are therefore advised to closely monitor their admission status on JAMB CAPS so as to do the needful as soon as possible. At the same time, some other schools may not publish the list of admitted candidates on their own portal or notice board. If this is the case for you, the only way to know when you have been offered provisional admission is to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS. You simply need to click here to visit the portal or copy this link here and paste it in your browser - efacility.jamb.gov.ng/, as shown on the diagram below.

Step 2. Login to the Portal: As soon as the page loads on your browser, enter your registered email address and password to access your dashboard on the site. You will be lodged in and have access to your Jamb details.

Step 3. Click on “Check Admission Status”: It's beneath the features displayed on your screen [as shown in the diagram below] after you lodged in. you will find a menu bar, scroll through and click on the “Check Admission Status” button. The page will load and bring out the following two features:

• Check admission status
• Access CAPS

Step 4. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’: Now, you need to access your actual CAPS dashboard. The E-facility portal opens a new page from here when you click on “Access my CAPS”. It leads you to a new page where you can check your admission status and access your information on the Jamb as regard the progress of your Admission, as shown on the diagram below.

Step 5. Click on “Admission Status”: When you click on Admission Status, the portal loads to reflect your status. If you have been admitted, you will get a response with your Photo Image being displayed and a text Congratulating you on your admission offer. But if you are not offered any admission yet, you will get a text response with: "Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet". Also, if your admission is in progress, the portal will come with message of "AIP", meaning that your School has considered you admission but it's still loading. When you see "AIP", keep checking the site because you will be given admission in few days as shown on the diagram below.

Step 6. Accept or Reject Admission : Once a candidate has been offered admission on the Jamb Caps, such Candidate is required to do either of these two functions:

• to accept the admission or
• to reject the admission.

If you have been duly offered admission, Congratulations! Now, you can proceed to either ACCEPT OR REJECT ADMISSION. At this point, please note that successfully admitted candidates are advised to ensure that they indicate the acceptance or rejection of admission online and timely to enable the processing of their admission by their respective School.

Candidates should also note that they are to be careful when on Jamb CAPS, so as not to mistakenly reject their admissions when they ought to accept.

Step 7. Print your Admission Letter: This is the last step on the Jamb CAPS. Your admission letter is the evidence of your admission and It is important to note that candidates who have been offered admission are to print their admission letter after accepting the admission, as they will likely need this during clearance and registration in their respective school.
