Today's Presidential Election has Eighteen Political Parties,  with Four leading Political Parties and Aspirants, namely:
  1.  All Progressives Congress (APC) -  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu
  2. Labour Party (LP) - Peter Gregory Obi
  3. New Nigeria Peoples' Party (NNPP) - Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso
  4. People's Democratic Party (PDP) - Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Join us as we provide you live updates of the Elections, situation Reports across the Seven hundred and Seventy-Four (774) Local Government Areas in Nigeria, detailed analysis, among others. Here is the distribution of Registered Voters for 2023 Election in Nigeria:
• Total Registered Voters - 93,464,008

Here is the Occupational distribution of registered Voters for 2023 Election in Nigeria:

•Artisan - 4,967,464
• Business -12,457,997
• Civil Servant - 5,283,549
• Farming/Fishing - 14,724,554
• House-Wife - 13,006,939
• Trading - 6,608,143
• Public servant - 2,376,223
• Students - 26,027,481
• Others - 6,608,143

Let us quickly remind you that BVAS will be used for accreditation. According to INEC, the voting process will Kickstart by 8:30AM and ends at 2:30PM (WAT).  

Currently, as at 8:05AM, INEC is still distributing Election Materiels to some Polling Units.

As at 8:48 am, voting is yet to commence while Election Materials are still been distributed in some local government Area.

As at 9:10Am, voting has begin is some of the polling units; some of those states include Adamawa, Kebbi, Ondo, Lagos, Imo amongst others.

Also, Governor Ademola Adeleke and his wives cast their votes at their polling unit 09 ward 02, Abogunde area of Ede North Local Government Area in Osun State.

As at 12:00Opm, voting is still ongoing across the PUs in the 774 local government Areas.


Notable persons who had voted include President Mohammadu Buhari, the APC Presidential Candidate - Bola Tinubu and his Wife - Oluremi Tinubu; his Labour Party counterpart - Peter Obi voted a while ago, also, Ondo State Governor - Rotimi Akeredolu has cast his ballot.

Outgoing Nigerian President - Buhari voted


The election process and accreditation commenced so late around 2:40Pam at polling unit 054 in Ganaja area of Kogi state.

According to the INEC officials, the delay is a result of the technical issues with the BVAs. However, Residents are not happy with the situation. 


Aa at 4:09PM, voting has ended in some PUs across the Country; while collation, counting and announcement of results are done with some of the PUs.
