FUTA Students' Portal Login:

The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) student portal for 2023/2024 session is now open and can be accessed. This is for  All fresh and returning students. This article provides you on how to login and carry out School activities.

These are five basic features of FUTA Students' Portal:

The FUTA Students' Portal can be opened and accessed anywhere in the world with your mobile phone or personal computer, provided you have access to the internet data in your location. All you have to do is to visit firars.futa.edu.ng and login with your details.

2. Enter your UTME/Matric Number 
3. Enter your Password used during registration
4. Finally, click on Login to access FUTA Student Portal.

FUTA Student Portal | Registration Procedures on Students' Login

For fresh and returning Students, follow the following five basic steps below to login: 

How do I login FUTA Students' Portal?

These are the 3 basic ways on how to login to FUTA Students'Portal:

1. Visit the FUTA Student' portal - firars.futa.edu.ng
2. Login with your JAMB Registration No. [Fresh Students Only] OR Matric Number [Returning Students] as Username, and
3. Use your Surname in CAPITAL OR UPPERCASE) for fresh Students, while Returning Students are to use their Password.

For new Students, you will be required to supply your valid Email Address and Phone Number to change your default password before you can proceed on the FUTA Students' Portal.

In case you forgot your password, click on the forgot password link and supply your JAMB Registration OR Matric Number, your Registered Email address, Phone Number and your new password, then click on send to reset your password which will be sent to your registered Phone Number and Email Address.

FUTA Student Bio-data registration for Fresh Students:

These are the two steps to register for FUTA Bio-data Registration:

1. Log in to the FUTA Students'Portal [Check step 1 on how to login]
2. Click on Student Biodata [For Fresh Students, It is compulsory that you fill all the sections accordingly.] 

Under the Upload section, you will be required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents:

1.  Passport (not more than 1 month old)
2.  Birth Certificate
3.  Certificate of Local Goverment of Origin
4. Jamb Admission Letter [print your jamb admission letter via Jamb Caps]
5.  Court Affitdavit
6. Attestation Letter
7. Olevel Result(s), NCE/ND/HND [check how to access your Waec result waecdirect.org]

The next step is to Click on  "Finalize and Preview Bio-data Registration" under the Finalize section. After clicking on it, your O'level results that you have supplied will be screened and if you passed, you will be instructed to generate invoice there and go to any of the banks listed on your invoice to pay your school fee on REMITA Platform only.

Please Note: You will not be able to generate FUTA school invoice and make payment at the bank if you fail to complete your bio-data screening sections appropriately and pass the online screening.

FUTA Students' Portal | Tuition Fee Payment:

After you have duly completed your bio-data registration and screened successful, click on Payment section on the Students' Portal, your payment due will be available as Debit under Student Ledger. 

FUTA Student Portal | These are are the five basic steps on how to make Payment of School fee:

1. Login to your Student's dashboard on firars.futa.edu.ng [Check how to create login on step 1 of this article]
2.  Click on Payment section
3. Generate invoice from which your RRR Number and ORDER ID will be made available
4. Present the RRR Number on the Invoice at any of the Banks listed on your invoice and make the payment on REMITA PLATFORM ONLY
5. Upon Payment, click on confirm payment under the Confirm Payment Section and Print your Official Receipt.

FUTA Students' Portal | How to Apply and Pay for Accommodation/Hostel:

The FUTA Accommodation is optional, and to be eligible for accommodation in FUTA, you must have paid and confirmed your School Fee. [Check how to pay and confirm your School fee on Step 3 of this article]

Here are five quick steps to apply for FUTA Accommodation:

1. Login to the FUTA Student Portal - site [see how to login in step 1 of this article]
2. Click on Accommodation
3. Read the Hall Regulations and tick/check "I agree ..."
4. Select the hall of your choice and click on "APPLY NOW" and  await SMS for offer of Accommodation

FUTA Students' Portal | Course Registration Procedures:

To be eligible for course registration, you must have paid and confirmed your School Fee. [Check step 3 of this post on how to do it]

Here is how to register your Courses on FUTA Students' portal:

• Login to your portal Account - firars.futa.edu.ng [Check step 1 on how to login]
• Click on Course Registration
• Click/tick your coures [For  Retuning Students/Fresh Students, your courses will be displayed for you to select appropriately]
• Click Submit, print and present to your Level Registration Officer for approval. 
• After approval, you must print another copies, present them for endorsement and submit at your department.
